MY RATING: 10.00

I like to read, write, play on the internet, debate, follow San Diego Charger's football, work out, and hang out with my fellow conservatives.

I loved The Shawshank Redemption; Gettysburg; Jaws; and The Civil War series by Ken Burns. I'm a movie hound, though, since I have stopped watching the television almost all together. The mainstream media makes me sick.

My staple is classic rock but I can listen to anything from top 40 to soft rock--you know on those lonely nights when I have nobody to hold me-- to even a little hip hop (which I find scary).

I have read and loved all of Bill O' Reilly's books. I thought John Adams by David Mcullough was awesome and moving. Others include The Fair Tax book (find it and read it) Men In Black, and I'm currently reading Newt Gingrich's book "Winning The Future." He has a new one out and I'm a little behind. Sigh. I wish Newt would have run for president.

My turn on's are conservative thought, the opposite sex, and San Diego Charger's football.

My turn off's are liberals, The Clintons, high taxes, defeatism, sympathy for terrorist, The ACLU, Moveon.org, and just about every liberal thought ever uttered.

Just a regular, every day guy who has just a few loves in his life--my little girls and family; God and country; and the avenue through which to make this country greater than it ever was--conservative thought (oops, I forgot Charger's football).

Did you really think I left you that comment as a hint for you to call me?!?!? How cute. ;) Actually I was sending you Mother's Day greetings on behalf of Julia. Since you are both mother and father to her I thought it was fitting. And thank you for the nice comment. And if you send anything send money! LOL
By the way why is it so dang hard for me to access this site? No other site takes me 10 minutes as well as 10 tries to log in. :(

Happy Mother's Day!

Come on now--I had planned on calling you before I ever received this.....of course you didn't pick up the phone when I finally did call, sniff, sniff. Well, I hope you had a wonderful day. You really are a great mom and it's a real relief not to have to worry about how my youngest is being treated. If I had any money I would have sent you some flowers or something......however, I'm a poor and pitiful fool these days. We're about to launch another site--my football site. That's going to be my baby, too. Take care of yourself and give my girl a kiss and let her know her daddy loves and misses her. Ian.

Oh, I hear ya and I love a good debate--and that's all this is. Being a Conservative doesn't mean one way of thinking. It's a coalition of idea's and views to move our country in the "right" direction. You have a good head on your shoulders and you have obviously put some thought into this. Good for you. We need the backbone of The Republican party to be Conservatives such as yourself!

Thank you for giving me this platform. I have been dying to be a part of a group that can arm me to fight liberalism and all that is accompanied by it(islamo-fascism, color discrimination, et al.) This site is exactly what I needed, good job on the facebook ad.

I agree with you on many points but then again, like Dennis Prager frequently says,"I prefer clarity to agreement". I agree that we do have a duty to God, family, and Country because each is built on the other, sort of like a pyramid. But I must point out that there are liberal/democrats who Are Christian. I agree that Christian ideology is under attack and I understand the double standard used in other religions' favor(Particularly Islam). However, the point I was hinting at was-Pastor Hagee is Not a politician and has really no business there, obviously Pastor Hagee and Reverend Wright chose to be scholars of religion and not the state. Therefore it is not their duty to influence public policy but Ours(people like me and you). I find it sad that Christians who are not necessarily scholars of the Bible so easily give up without a fight and subsequently Pastors like John Hagee are left to get dirty. So I think what I am trying to say is that we need more Christians to stand up(like the Alliance Defense Fund) and not leave it up to the pastor.
