I am new here and if anyone comments (or whatever the term here is) i will post the second part (this is only the first part). Also, the myspace account above has my other blogs i've posted. In 1919, Theodore Roosevelt wrote in a letter to the America Defense Society, "In the first place we should insist that the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equity with everyone else, for it is an outr... Dear Reader, For the past few days I have been smacking my head against the wall, reaching and grasping for a subject the way a man falling from a tree might reach and grasp for a leafy branch before plummeting to The Earth. There’s no shortage of subjects out there—Hillary and Obama duking it out; or how the conservative base is reeling like The German Army in 44’ in the face of Mccain’s Pattonian onslaught in the primaries. Neither of the subjects really interest me. I cannot stand M... Read More
